DeepCloud at AiHUB 2025: Empowering Swiss businesses through artificial intelligence

Yesterday, DeepCloud took part in AiHUB 2025, held at Lugano Arte e Cultura (LAC), the renowned cultural and conference center in Ticino, reaffirming its commitment to advancing practical applications of artificial intelligence across Ticino and throughout Switzerland

AiHUB, a collaborative initiative between Artificialy, Tinext Cloud, Abacus and DeepCloud, served as a vibrant meeting point where technology and business strategy converged.

An engaged and diverse audience

The event brought together a dynamic audience from a wide range of sectors — including banking and finance, public administration, consulting, education and research, media, construction, fiduciaries, and many more.

This diversity reflected the broad relevance of AI across today’s economic landscape, as well as the growing appetite for practical, industry-specific solutions.

Attendees had the opportunity to exchange insights with innovators, solution providers and thought leaders exploring how AI can optimise business processes, enhance decision-making and create new opportunities.

Event highlights

The evening was moderated by Bruno Giussani, journalist and former European director of the TED conferences, who guided the audience through the programme with thought-provoking questions and engaging commentary.

Claudio Hintermann (Co-CEO of Abacus and CEO of DeepCloud) inaugurated the event with a philosophical address exploring the interplay between artificial and human intelligence. He reflected on how human originality, free will, and depth of thought remain essential, both to the future of business software and to the continuing evolution of humankind.

Next up was Luca Gambardella (Co-founder and CEO of Artificialy, Professor USI), who introduced Artificialy as a company and who was followed by Artificialy’s Head of AI Solutions, Athos Fiori. Fiori presented real-life cases of AI use in different industries.

Last of the speakers was Massimo Baioni (Tinext Cloud), who elaborated on the requirements and benefits of private AI, as well as the flexibility of a hybrid and multi-cloud strategy.

The evening concluded with a short panel discussion, during which all speakers shared their perspectives on the evolving role of AI in Swiss business.
