DeepCloud, the Swiss tech company based in Wittenbach, announces a major achievement for its data capture AI, DeepO. Since January 2023, over 1 million documents have been processed by users through DeepO, making it Switzerland’s leading cognitive data capture solution.

Unlike traditional OCR solutions, DeepO goes beyond text recognition, understanding document semantics and integrating information from various sources to provide rich data within seconds.

DeepO is publicly available as a built-in feature of DeepBox, a cloud-based ISO 27001:2013-certified document sharing platform and exclusively hosted on Swiss servers. Through DeepBox, users can benefit from DeepO cognitive data capture capabilities to automatically acquire, analyse, classify and process a wide range of documents, like invoices, receipts, purchase orders, credit notes and pay slips.

DeepO is a feature of DeepBox, but it is also available as an API-based stand-alone solution that can be integrated with both cloud and on-premise technological infrastructures.

The AI solution has proved to be up to twenty times faster than manual handling, resulting in an impressive 80% reduction in administrative costs. It offers native integrations with the Abacus ERP software and the AbaNinja accounting tool, enabling seamless connection to Swiss ERPs, and REST API integrations for other ERPs. DeepO has been successfully integrated into various applications, including the AbaClik mobile app and the Swiss real estate platform Tayo.
