The new DeepSign archive: secure, long term storage for signed documents

With the new DeepSign archive, we extend DeepSign with a convenient and secure way to store signed documents permanently within the DeepCloud ecosystem

Permanent storage instead of 14 days

Until now, completed documents were stored in DeepSign for 14 days after completion and then permanently deleted.
With the new DeepSign archive, these documents can now be stored automatically and on a permanent basis.

  • By default, the DeepSign archive is disabled for users.
  • Once a user activates the archive, their completed documents are automatically stored in their personal archive.

The organisation remains in control

Organisations can centrally disable the DeepSign archive for their users, preventing completed documents from being stored.

  • By default, the archive is allowed at organisation level, enabling users to store documents permanently.
  • If the organisation prohibits the archive, the user cannot activate it.

This ensures that the organisation always retains control over document storage and reliably complies with internal policies and compliance requirements.

Important dates

  • 30 January 2026: with the release, organisations and users can configure the DeepSign archive settings.
  • 1 March 2026: introduction of the archive for completed documents. Until then, documents will continue to be permanently deleted after 14 days.

Another example of how customer feedback drives innovation

The DeepSign archive is a direct result of extensive feedback from our community. It shows how we continuously evolve DeepCloud in a practical, secure way and in line with real day to day business needs.

Detailed information on how the DeepSign archive works and how to configure it can be found in the relevant support article.

Try the new DeepSign archive and keep your signed documents where they belong: securely in the DeepCloud.
